Overview:
  
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is working with a state government agency as a Senior Environmental Officer, you will provide guidance, environmental expertise to the department’s environmental management commitments.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide environmental advice regarding implementation of environmental assessments, legislation, compliance and management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, methodologies, standards and specifications.
• Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the Environmental Management System.
• Assist regional staff in the supervision of road construction and maintenance contracts.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree qualification in environmental science, environmental management, environmental planning or other relevant qualification.
• Experience in managing environmental projects, conducting environmental impact assessments, and implementing sustainability initiatives.
• High level of accuracy in monitoring and reporting environmental data.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex environmental issues.
