Overview:
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is working with an organisation that will be responsible for providing a prompt, efficient and effective supply and support service to meet the requirements for inventory/stock materials, particularly in relation to operational fleet and equipment logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive all consignments from carriers as they are delivered and ensure deliveries are appropriately managed without delay.
- Process routine and priority requisitions/picking tickets by selecting the correct items and quantities, packaging the stock, and preparing and maintaining relevant records.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure the effective and rapid issue of stock.
- Prepare packaged goods for dispatch and arrange dispatch in accordance with procedures, liaising with courier services and freight and shipping companies as required.
- Maintain and operate materials handling equipment, including an electric/diesel forklift, and maintain the warehouse and workshop environments in a clean and tidy condition to ensure compliance with safety standards and practices.
- Undertake other duties as required.
Essential Requirements:
