Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a state government organisation to search for a Security Operatoins (SecOps) Engineers under a 5-month contract.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and maintain security tools and systems to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats.
- Implement Agile practices for continuous security improvement and enhance automation in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor, analyze, and triage security events; coordinate penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Author and maintain documentation; offer expert guidance on technology and process selection.
- Advise on secure technology use and assess changes in relevant government policies.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security controls across various domains, including Identity and Cloud Platforms.
- Effective communication skills for conveying risk and issues to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of integrating IT with business processes and people.
- A criminal history check will be required; disclosure of any serious disciplinary actions from public sector roles is necessary.
- Experience in delivering security policy and program advice, using Agile tools, and collaborating with teams to set and achieve goals.
