Senior Project Manager

Overview:
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is working with local government to secure a Project Engineer for this 6-month opportunity. The position is also responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of major infrastructure construction projects. Deliverables of this position include scope development, design coordination, tender preparation, contract administration and construction management which meets the needs of Council’s residents and ratepayers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of major multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, fulfilling the role of Senior Project Manager and Superintendents Representative or Superintendent for construction projects.
  • To provide professional engineering assistance and support across a broad range of disciplines and management processes.
  • Develop and maintain efficient operational and management systems and procedures, and performance measures to continually improve work practices and performance  

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture, construction management or other relevant field (Post graduate qualifications in project management highly desirable)
  • Extensive experience in engineering, building or architectural infrastructure projects
  • Construction Induction Card competency that has been used or obtained within the past 2 years.
