Technical Business Analyst (Generalist)

Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is proud to be partnering with one of the largest infrastructure projects in Australia to recruit an IT Business Analyst to provide technical support for both project work and Business As Usual functions.

What will you do:
The Business Analyst acts as a liaison between the IT function, other business units, and external vendors to support the implementation of various technology solutions.

  • Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders to conduct requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and business process mapping, including technical teams, project managers, end-users, and other business units.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues arising from different technical functions.
  • Regularly conduct meetings and workshops with stakeholders to communicate requirements and gather feedback.
  • Support the testing stage of technology solutions by defining test scenarios, validating solutions, and ensuring that both functional and non-functional requirements are met.

What You Will Bring:
3 years of experience in similar roles
Previous experience in complex organizations or government departments would be a significant advantage
Tertiary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Exposure to a broad range of technical functions, including infrastructure, systems, and software etc
Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
